Writer's Workshop: Super Powers

Brought to you again from the lovely Mama Kat. This week is special because the Moxie Media Girls are taking Mona through the US. And today, Mona just happened to stop in my home state of Kentucky!! Take a look:

And one of today's prompts was if you could have any super power, what would it be and why? And friends, Jordan and I have had long, and I mean loooong discussions about this. One of the reasons I love being married to a geek. I can talk to him about that and I can also ask him to help me find the damn Dagobah system! LOL. And this is a verrrrryyyy geeky answer.

Anyways, I think my super power would be that of Peter Petrelli's from Heroes. The ability to absorb other peoples' powers just by being around them.

That way I'd be able to have whatever power I want. Mind reading, telekinesis, flying, not being able to be killed. And, I could just be around Jordan and get his super power, the same one as Professor X.


Yes I know we're dorks. But if I had a super power that could be used in real life, maybe I'd have super speed so I could clean my house spotless in like 10 minutes. Or some sort of time travel where I'd be able to jump to Kentucky to see my family and come back to North Carolina in a matter of minutes. But it would be awesome to fly and move things with my mind. And, if I was around Jordan and he had his power, I could just absorb it, and he would still keep it too, and I'd be like a million times better than him because I'd have his powers and then some!

Ok, geek out over. This was a really fun post today and sorry for my lack of posting yesterday.....it was all out of whack. Jordan came home at 3-ish and went to bed at 6 and didn't wake up until 11:30. Then, Rosslyn didn't go to sleep till about 3am so it was an eventful day.
