I'll admit it, up until a few years ago, I didn't know who Rush was. But after watching movies with obscure Rush references (SLC Punk) and hearing songs on the radio, and on tv shows, the band started growing on me.

Bask in the epicness.

Then, there was a little move called I Love You, Man. Where both main characters had a strange affinity for Rush. I told Jordan that I didn't see what the big deal was with them. And then he uttered the words that I'm sure he would love to have engraved on his headstone."Rush is the f--king shit, Shea. You need to get with it."

Here I laughed my ass off thinking he was joking. But he was totally serious. There's something about those three Canadians that hits my husband's heart to the core.

So, we were watching Fanboys, where another main character is in love with Rush.
Who doesn't want a little bit of the Hutch touch?



And then Jordan ran the song "Limelight" into the ground. It's a very catchy song, don't get me wrong, but I can only hear it so many times before it starts to get old. So Rush, your music is awesome, but I'd like to hear a little bit less of it around my household. That is all.
