Weekly Pregnancy Post- 6 Weeks

I really don't want my blog to turn into a pregnancy-centric blog. So I've decided I'll just do a weekly update with everything. Tomorrow (Saturday) I'll be 6 weeks along and this is vastly different than when I was pregnant with Rosslyn. I do not have morning sickness at all like I did with her, so it's definitely strange. I have been nauseous a few times but not constantly sick like before.

I'm starting to get a little pooch above my pubic bone and my butt is huge! My stomach is a little larger and my stretch marks are getting a little more red already.

I still haven't made an OB appointment yet (shame on me) but I need to do one little thing before I schedule my OB appointment. I'm kind of afraid to go because I remember how much you get poked and prodded and I do not want that. But I will get to it eventually.

Our baby is now about the size of a lentil bean.

Rosslyn seems to be ok about adding a new baby. But I'm sure she doesn't completely understand. I told her to kiss the baby inside my belly and she did. And I asked her if she wanted a girl or a boy and first she said "Girl" then I asked her later and said "boy." Right now, it doesn't matter to me because I'll be happy with either and I guess it still hasn't fully hit me yet. Well, I think that's all for now. I'll leave you with a belly picture!

Is this the first announcement on the blog about the new addition? Because I can't believe I would have missed that post!! CONGRATULATIONS! :)

I applaud you, miss, for not wanting to make it all about your pregnancy. I've told myself that when the day for number two comes along I won't either because my blog is about our family, not one baby. Ha.

Very cute bump. I always loved to see what nut or vegtable my baby's size was compared too.
