Aquarium Adventure

As I blogged about earlier, we took a trip to Emerald Isle today. Well, that turned into a trip to Pine Knoll Shores to go to the aquarium. Which was pretty fun. I really wanted to go to the beach but Jordan was determined to find the Aquarium and you know how men can be once they have their mind set on something, they have to find it. So we drove around for what seemed like forever until we finally saw the sign for teh aquarium. We got there and went in. Surprisingly, admission was only $8 and we didn't have topay for Rosslyn. We were going around looking at everything and she was in the stroller for about oh 5 minutes and Jordan was like, let's just keep her out. So we passed her back and forth throughout the aquarium. It was nice, Rosslyn kept trying to touch all the fish and it was crowded around the only things I wanted to see, the seahorses and crabs. But that was ok. We saw the otters and they were pretty cool. I think they're my favorite water mammal (are they mammals?)I just wish it was a little bit bigger. The Ripley's one in Gatlinburg was huge and awesome. It has and underwater tunnel with a moving sidewalk and lots of other things, hopefully we can go back there soon.

So once we were finished with the aquarium, we went outside to eat at the mini DQ. And I had an Orange Julius for the first time, which I didn't like. I expected it to be more slushy but it was kind of like drinking a creamsicle. But before that, we stopped at the gift shop to look around nd Rosslyn fund this little stuffed otter with big sad eyes that she put in her mouth, so we had to get it lol. Good thing it was only $9. She loves it. After we ate lunch, we were on our way back and saw this little place o play putt putt but it kind of looked like a tourist trap and looked pretty small and Rosslyn was almost asleep so we decided to come on home. So we're here now, I think I may have gotten a little sun on my arms, they look darker to me but I don't know. I can't wait to go back to the tanning bed. Anyways, here's some pictures of Rosslyn and her otter buddy, I've named him Olly.
