Daycare, Vacation, and So long, August!

I don't know about you all but this seems to have been one of the longest months in recent memory. I know they're all the same length but August seems to be dragging on..... Also, one week from today, I will be turning 25! What the what?! I can't believe I'll be a quarter century old. It has been a long one, indeed. I hope the next 25 years of my life are awesome.

As I mentioned in my previous blog post, Jordan and I are thinking about putting the girls in daycare while I'm at school. Yesterday after my class, I decided to stop by (with the girls) and check out the place and get a few more answers to questions I had lingering. Rosslyn loved it right off the bat. There weren't a whole lot of children there, because they mainly cater to school-aged kids during the summer. So I think we're going to start doing that just while I'm at school so Rosslyn can get used to the idea of being away from me and around other kids she doesn't know. Because she starts preschool next year!! I hope Aurelia will do ok at daycare though. Because she is still nursing. And I usually feed her before I leave and as soon as I get back. Just in case she's hungry. Because she will not take a bottle at all....

Which moves me into my next topic. I started pumping last night in hopes to produce enough milk for her to stay with Jordan's mom while Jordan and I are on vacation. We're going down to Gatlinburg for three days. We've already rented a cabin (the first I've ever stayed in) and we're planning on things to do. Like there's a murder mystery dinner theater, a haunted dinner theater, and a few haunted houses that we're wanting to go to as well as the Ripley's things and all that. We think our friends Kenny and Whitney are going to come down and we're going to stay in the cabin together, we're gonna bring the Xbox and stuff and have a good time...that is if Aurelia will take a bottle. She doesn't like either formula I've given her. I have bought 4 different types of botthers: parent's choice (walmart brand), Dr. Brown's, Avent, and Breastflow. And a Dr. Brown's sippy cup. I hope she'll take it while I'm gone because Jordan and I haven't had a day to ourselves in a while. She tries drinking from Rosslyn's cup all the time So maybe I should find something like that and put milk in it and give it to her? I don't know what to do...she's so stubborn. Every time I try to give her a bottle, she just shoves it away. So if anything goes wrong, we may just have to take her with us. That's pretty much it for now....I'll update again soon!

Yay! So glad you found a daycare you like!
I'd try straw cups and sippys, she may take those. Caroline dropped the bottle because she wanted what Jase had when she was I think 7 months. Worth a try! :)
